1 20 oz. can pineapple chunks or tidbits
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. all-purpose flour
1 c. soft bread crumbs
Butter
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Place drained pineapple and cheese in a 2-quart square baking dish. Combine reserved juice, sugar and flour; cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Pour liquid over pineapple in dish. Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes or until crumbs are lightly browned. Serve warm. A great accompaniment to ham.
